teenagers, adolescents, young adults, singles, newly
wedded couples, new mothers and fathers, grand fathers
and grand mothers etc) are more easily engaged on some
platforms than others.
Step 4: Use platforms your audience is already on
Once you have identified who your target audience for
whom you will be writing will be; all you will need to do is to
find out on which platforms they are already actively using.
Get on those same platforms so it will be easy to engage
with them. For example today a lot of pastors, ministers,
church leaders, churches and ministries have found it
necessary to open accounts on Facebook because a lot of
their parishioners and followers are already on Facebook
actively.
Opening an account and maintaining daily activities on it
and engaging on Facebook is therefore a no brainer for
anyone in ministry.
Step 5: Differentiate your ministry on line
You have to differentiate your ministry or church on line.
Every ministry or church has its own unique features.
There is a reason why people follow one ministry or church
and do not follow another ministry or church.
You have to focus on what differentiates you from other
churches or ministries. Use the most outstanding
characteristics of your church or ministry to captivate and
engages your audience.
Your social media strategy will be more successful if you
use that unique and distinctive characteristic that you have
as a church or ministry to appeal to the heart of your
audience.
