3. REASONS WHY YOU AS A MINISTER
                 MUST BE ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media is here to stay. It is not a passing fad that
will soon go away. Every day more people go online and start
conversations and engagements online. It is therefore
important for you as a pastor or a minister to get involved
and become knowledgeable about how to use social media
            for ministry.
Here are a few reasons why you as a pastor/minister
            must be on social media.

            a. Connection to the people:
If you are not on social media and your congregation or
followers cannot see you there the impression you will be
creating is that you " old school'. You will be seen as being
set in your old ways and find it hard to move with the times.
The image about yourself that you will be creating by not
being on social media is that you are disconnected from the
people and what the people are experiencing as you are not
moving with the times and current methods of
            communication.

The silent conclusion that people will make of you is that
you will not be able to understand the problems the people
are going through and you may not be knowledgeable
enough to pastor them or give appropriate advice when it is
            needed.
