Social media is the current and most effective way to
reach out to thousands at the same time. It is a cutting edge
method of delivery of the gospel. It is not a passing fad that
will disappear any time soon nor a fun tool for people to only
connect with friends. It has become a day to day vital
communications channel.
If you refuse to use social media you will become
increasingly left behind by the trends of society. You will
lose your sphere of influence and will not be able to deliver
your message to this generation as they are used to the
latest technology and cutting edge delivery of the gospel.
The mind of God is still the same but the methods of
delivery of what is on his mind has changed. You need to
undergo the paradigm shift and begin to deliver his mind to
the people with the new methods.
