God is very big on relationship
The main reason why he (God ) made man was to have
fellowship with him. In the book of Genesis the bible records
that God used to come to Adam in the cool of the evening to
have fellowship with him.
Today God still longs to have daily, constant and real
time communication and to maintain constant relationship
with us.
Social media as a tool for ministry helps us to tell others
stories about God, help us maintain our relationship with
others, empower us to engage them with different aspects
about God to keep them coming back.
It helps us to constantly encourage them to continue to
daily build and maintain their relationship with God.

2. SOCIAL MEDIA AS AN EFFECTIVE TOOL
FOR MINISTRY

Social media if used properly can be a very effective tool
for ministry.
a. To grow Discipleship

Social media can be used to grow discipleship.
Discipleship requires more interaction than a weekly
Sunday service contact. We cannot expect that a one hour
service on Sundays each week will meet the spiritual needs
of the people and can make them grow as disciples for the
rest of the week. There are over 167 more hours in a week!
To make disciples like Jesus commanded for the great
commission requires that we must be able to be in the lives
of the people beyond the weekly service and special events.
