There are so many ways that your Facebook page can be
damaged. For example malicious software, Spam videos,
unknown links that are injected by cyber criminals to trap
Facebook accounts, to access your account without your
knowledge.
Of recent a lot of people have been complaining of
pornography gradually becoming a dominant feature in
Facebook. Many decent people's Facebook pages have being
wantonly plastered with illicit videos, which are certainly
unsolicited.
More painful is the fact that at times the owners of the
Facebook pages are unaware that their accounts have been
hacked. Many times also hackers use innocent victims
accounts to place pornography on their victims friends
pages or are soliciting their friends for money under the
pretext that they are stranded somewhere or are in need of
money for some urgent personal or emergency medical
situations.
For pastors and ministers when their accounts are
hacked the hackers start sending messages to all their
contact to send them money that they are either in need of
funds to complete a building project or to feed the orphans
or widows or are stranded in a foreign nation where they
went on missionary work and need funds to get back home.
The painful part of this is that many believe and send the
funds before they are informed that the account was
hacked.
At this point while Facebook offers tips on how to
protect your account there is currently still no software
to secure your account. So the purpose of this section in
