Your Face book cover photo is the large rectangular
image that appears behind your profile picture on top of
your page. This image being larger attracts attention and
allows you to make an impression as people come onto your
page.
Use this space to showcase your best pictures, your
upcoming events or action pictures of you ministering.

You should choose an image for your cover picture that
is very clear and looks good as a large rectangle.The size of
your Facebook cover picture should be: 851×315 pixels

5. FACEBOOK ENGAGEMENT: Content On
Facebook To Increase Engagement

Many churches usually use Facebook like a virtual
bulletin. They just list events on their pages and what is
happening on the next Sunday. The problem is that Face
book does not work that way. You must post interesting
content and engage your commentators. When Facebook
sees low engagement with the virtual bulletin styles of posts
it lowers the reach of the posts. When this is repeated over
and over again the Face book algorithm penalizes the
church/ ministry page and lowers its reach.
Here is the good news. When people comment on your
posts it sends a signal to Facebook (a very important signal),
it says your page is relevant to your audience. Then
Facebook will show your post to more people. The more
