this book is to give you some tips that you can follow that
will help you stay safe on Facebook and keep your account
from being hacked.
These are 12 primary tips you need to know to secure
your Face book account.
a. Setting up and changing Your Password Frequently:
Make sure when you are setting up your password you do
not use simple words that can easily be guessed.
Let your password be of about 12 characters long
and be a combination of both upper case and lower
case letters along with this use symbols and special
characters. This makes your password very strong and
makes it next to impossible for unauthorized users to
access your account.
Changing your password frequently is also one of the
best things to keep your account safe.
Do not use the same password you use for any of your
other online activities for your Facebook account.

b. Account Privacy setting:
Set your account privacy settings such that nothing goes
on your time line without you approving it.
No one can tag you in a photo or post anything to your
wall. it will be placed in your box for you to approve it and
make it viewable on your timeline or you can decide to keep
it hidden from your timeline. This you can do from the
settings area of your Facebook account.

c. Check your Facebook page regularly:
Be vigilant with your Facebook account. That is YOUR
Facebook account not anyone else's. People will believe that
