still an excellent use of your tweet space as it expands your
short message to include whatever you link out to.
Twitter does not count the entire length of your link
against your 144 characters in your Tweet. Twitter shortens
the link for you even if the link you may want to post is
even longer than the 144 characters themselves. All you
have to do from there is to shorten your text to make sure
you have room to include the link.
To shorten your link you can use a free service like goo.gl
connected to your Google account, or a site like bit.ly to
shorten your links in a cleaner format than the Twitter
option.
The advantage you enjoy when you use these free
services is that you can track how many times people click
your links and you can see how effective your post
engagement was for that specific Tweet.
ii. Adding Graphics and Videos
When you are creating new tweet you can click on the
Media button and post Photos and Videos to your tweet. to
add new pictures.
You can also add a video and connect it to a tweet. You
have the option of either uploading the video directly to
twitter via the post editor or you can add a link to a YouTube
video or any other video sharing site
When you use the Media button to upload your graphic
or video you are using Twitter's storage instead of having to
use your own online storage.
Adding an image or a video to your post will make your
tweet stand out from others in the feed. Remember that
