customers. While the domain names may be free of charge
so you don't come out of pocket of any cash ,they have
conditions attached to them.
Some hosting providers will offer you the free domain
name if you use their company name as the extension at the
end of the domain name. The effect of this is that you do not
own the domain name and cannot move it anytime you
want.
Some others will offer you the free domain name if you
buy your web hosting from them. You will eventually pay for
the domain name in the cost of the hosting so the "Free" is
not exactly "Free".
Others offer free domain names as a way to gather
personal information that they can sell to advertisers. You
definitely do not want your information to be sold to
marketers and people you don't know.
Finally, there are some hosting providers that will give
you the free domain name offer and you will agree to their
putting advertising on your website. The down side of this is
