SHOULD YOUR CHURCH/MINISTRY HAVE A
MOBILE APP?
Mobile apps are incredibly powerful platforms. They are
useful for performing different functions that cannot be
effectively accomplished via a web browser. However while
being able to allow your congregation to access your church
/ ministry information via a mobile app is a huge benefit it is
wise that before your church / ministry begins to plan to
build a mobile app to consider the cost of building a mobile
app and the budget of the church/ministry. What exactly
are the goals for which you want to develop a mobile app
that a mobile website cannot achieve for you?

A custom mobile app built from the scratch can run into
hundreds of thousands of dollars while an app built from a
template can equally run into thousands of dollars. This is
money that can be better utilized in other arrears of
ministry.
If it is your goal is to offer mobile-friendly content to the
widest possible audience then just have a mobile website
and use it well to inform your followers about your
activities.
A mobile website can help you develop a mobile web
presence in a more cost effective manner than a mobile app.
