1. SOCIAL MEDIA IS THE 21 CENTURY
STRATEGY FOR THE CHURCH
T he gospel is timeless and unchanging but the
methods of delivery are always evolving and the
strategy of delivery for each generation of the gospel
is different.
To be effective the church needs to embrace the strategy

for this new 21 century technological age and go to where
the people are congregated and deliver the gospel to them in
the manner and via the mediums they are using.
Social media platforms are the new 21st century
technological advancement which are used daily by
millions of people in the world today that ministers and the
church need to take time to understand how to use them,
embrace them and utilize them for delivering the gospel.
In the few chapters down we will get to learn a bit more
about the history of and the power of some social media
platforms.
Just like salvation is free to anyone who desires to be
saved (Romans 10:13), many social medium platforms with
high daily traffic are free to join to anyone who desires to
take advantage of the opportunity to reach large numbers of
people from different cultures, living in different
geographical locations all over the world
The problem (which I say is “an error” – Ecclesiastes
10:5) is that most ministers and churches have not yet
embraced the use of social media platforms as they have not
yet fully understood the reach and power of the platforms.
Everyday a lot of ministers, leaders and churches keep
praying the prayer of Jabez “O that thou wouldest bless me
